Nordic Cross Country Skiing

The Snow Farm is New Zealand’s only Nordic ski area. In New Zealand, Cross Country skiing is still a small sport, but Cross Country skiers in New Zealand are blessed with 55km of the most well prepared trails in the world. It is the Snow Farm's goal, not to be just one of the best X-C resorts in the world, but to one day be considered the best Cross Country Resort in the world.

Snow Farm track standard rivals the best tracks in the Northern Hemisphere with classic and skating lanes on all trails. Trails have been designed for all levels of Cross Country skiers. The trails wind through the Meg River Valley to the North and the South with views of the Southern Alps contrasting with the rolling slopes. The normally light dry snow makes for excellent skiing.
